About Us

Restoring Connections Therapy was founded on a simple belief: when we understand the why behind our experiences, we open the door to real, lasting change.

What began as a small, research-informed practice has grown into a space where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to rewrite their story with clarity and compassion.

Our work is rooted in relational, evidence-based care. We believe therapy should feel safe, accessible, and genuinely human—less about clinical formality, more about meaningful connection. Every session is tailored to meet you where you are, grounded in curiosity rather than judgment, and focused on helping you move toward what’s next.

Danielle Nunley, LCSW
Therapist

Specialties: Postpartum, infertility, pregnancy, teens, OCD, anxiety, depression, life transitions early adulthood 18-35, brainspotting, trauma

  • I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. My approach centers on meeting people exactly where they are in their journey while guiding them through the growth and change they’re seeking.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, major life transitions, relationship challenges, OCD, trauma, and perinatal mental health concerns. I enjoy working with adolescents through adulthood and strive to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and empowering.

I have advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, as well as specialized training in perinatal mental health to support individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum transitions, infertility, and the emotional complexities that often accompany these seasons of life. I also integrate Brainspotting into my therapeutic work and have completed both Phase 1 and Phase 2 trainings.

My goal is to help clients recognize and build on their strengths while guiding them toward their own personal goals. Therapy is a collaborative process, one where I both support and gently challenge clients so they can gain insight, develop new tools, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and our golden retriever. In my free time, you’ll often find me reading, spending time outdoors, fishing, or exploring a new pizza place—ideally followed by a scoop of ice cream.

  • My approach to therapy is compassionate and holistic. I believe in meeting people where they are and honoring the values that matter most to them. For those who are interested, I’m happy to integrate faith-based principles into our work together.

Above all, I’m passionate about helping people strengthen their relationships, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Healing is never one-size-fits-all, and I’m here to support you in your unique journey.

Katie Leap
Massage Therapist

Specialties: Trauma informed massage, prenatal, deep tissue, and medical

  • I began my journey into Massage Therapy in 2023. I was seeking a meaningful career change and found myself drawn to the field of Massage Therapy.Although I didn’t know much about the field at the time, I trusted my intuition and enrolled at Indiana Wellness College. That leap of faith led me to a profession I quickly grew passionate about. During my training, I developed a strong foundation in anatomy and bodywork, and I discovered just how powerful massage can be—whether easing muscle tension, supporting pain relief, or helping the body release stress and stored trauma.

I am committed to fostering a space that invites comfort, trust, and a sense of calm. Supporting mind–body wellness is at the heart of my work. I am trained in Trigger Point Therapy as well as Sports and Medical Massage, and I tailor each session to meet your unique needs.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family. I’m an avid reader and a dedicated puzzler (I truly love my puzzles). When the weather warms up, you’ll almost always find me outdoors—reading, tending to the yard, or simply relaxing with music.

We would love to support your journey to healing. Contact our team today to learn about next steps.
